We posted some new pictures today, few from July 4th, some random ones since the last posting.. Enjoy

Sorry for the long delay, we have been busy chasing Cassie around. We posted two new Galleries, one is her birthday (the actual one at the zoo and the party with everyone a couple of days later) the other is a collection of our trips to Mt Shasta and Tahoe. Cassie has been pretty active since turning one and is walking really well now. She is clearly saying Daddy and Momma at 13.5 months now and she is taking swimming lessons. She is enjoying the lessons with Mommy! She has gone on her first camping trip with us and her first bike ride with Mommy which she thoroughly enjoyed. She likes to crawl all over poor Lily and feed her from her high chair (to our dismay)but pushes her away when she tries to kiss her! Toddlerhood has it's challenges, but Mommy and Daddy are lovin every minute of it!!

First, we will bring you up to speed a bit. Cassie had a couple of firsts right before her 11 month birthday...in fact, one day before! First, she fell off of our bed and just to be safe we took her to the emergency room in the same hospital that she was born in. Secondly, while she was there in the waiting room she was pushing a chair around (her favorite thing to do) and went to go from one chair to another and she took 5 or 6 steps all by herself unassisted. She hadn't done that before and to this day, hasn't done it again!! She has also had her first visit to the toddler room as she prepares to transition to that room after she turns 1. It resulted in her second "owie" report from daycare because she got into a "conflict" with an older toddler over a toy and got bit! It didn't beak the skin but left a red mark on her pinkie finger that lasted a couple of days....OUCH!! Besides that though, she did really well and has been back to the room a couple of times now and likes it.
Today, Grandma and Cindy (Alicia's sister-in-law) came over for Easter breakfast and we all enjoyed a little egg hunt! Then, we went to Tricia and Jamie's to have Easter dinner and another little egg hunt! Cassie very much enjoyed her eggs and her first Easter. We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures from it!

Hi everyone,
Today we had a nice spring day so we took the opportunity to go to Daffodil Hill and although not all of the flowers were in bloom yet the ones that were in bloom were beautiful. Below are some pictures from the day. Cassie got to see her first horse, pigeons, a peacock and even some chickens!!

During the month of February, Cassie got her 2nd tooth...right next to her first tooth on the bottom in the front! They are too cute. She began eating foods like green beans which are by far a favorite. She jams around now with her shopping cart that her Aunt Kathie from Austin got her for Christmas. It's early March now and Cassie is eating all sorts of foods...she loves salmon, mac and cheese, chicken, pancakes and peaches! She can stand now for a few seconds without falling over and has even taken one step forward so we think she will walk before she is a year. Speaking of her turning a year, it's only two months away! We are planning her party for May 2nd.
