During the month of February, Cassie got her 2nd tooth...right next to her first tooth on the bottom in the front! They are too cute. She began eating foods like green beans which are by far a favorite. She jams around now with her shopping cart that her Aunt Kathie from Austin got her for Christmas. It's early March now and Cassie is eating all sorts of foods...she loves salmon, mac and cheese, chicken, pancakes and peaches! She can stand now for a few seconds without falling over and has even taken one step forward so we think she will walk before she is a year. Speaking of her turning a year, it's only two months away! We are planning her party for May 2nd.

First, we would like to apologize for not posting since January 5th. We have been super busy (Cassie had a few big firsts) and a bit under the weather a lot of the time. In early January, Cassie began to really crawl which was really exciting to watch. Then, she had her first plane ride which was a flight to Salt Lake City to visit Marilee and Stan (she is a 2nd mom to me and I was very excited to have her meet Cassie). Cassie did really really well on her first flight with not one tear and happily smiling at everyone! We were very proud parents!! She was pretty much an angel on the trip and surprised us all with her very first tooth!! We visited the Mormon Temple and traveled up to Park City Utah too. Both were beautiful and the Temple didn't burn up when Chris walked into some of the buildings hehe!!

Cassie had a wonderful first Christmas! She spent an evening opening presents at Grandma's house and then she spent Christmas Eve at Rick and Anne's (Chris's sister's in-laws) and Christmas day was spent at Rick and Laurie's (her Aunt and Uncle) with a little stop by my brothers house where she spent some time with Uncle Aaron and Aunt Jackie's. She liked all of her presents but she seemed to like the rip of the wrap and banging on the boxes the best. She is enjoying her toys more now though!!
She just turned 8 months old on December 30th and is very close to crawling and is walking now while holding our fingers....it's pretty exciting!! She is also sitting up on her own now from a laying down position which is new!! Oh and she eats a little bit of crackers and bread and Gerber Graduate Stars seem to be a favorite!! Merry Christmas! Sorry for not posting in a long time, it has been a busy time with Thanksgiving and getting ready for Christmas. We took Cassie to Breakfest With Santa yesterday where she got to sit with Santa for the first time and have breakfast with part of her Famliy. When she sat with Santa we think we saw her whisper something to his ear but we couldn't hear what she said. Though it must have been something like DaDaDa. Though what she said was surely in code, we know that Santa will get her want she wants thanks to all the helpfull Elves that are helping him this year.
